Adding Jobs and Job Categories

Adding Job Categories

  1. Click the Jobs tab.
  2. Click Add Job Category button.
  3. In the field called Name, type in the name of the category to be created and add a brief description.
  4. Click Save.
  5. To reorder job categories, click Sort Job Categories button.
  6. Click and drag the job category titles to the order they should be displayed.
  7. Click Save.

Adding jobs

  1. Click the Jobs tab.
  2. Click on the Add Job button.
  3. Select the Job Category.  If the needed job category is not listed in the drop down list, click on the cancel button and refer to Adding Job Categories above.
  4. Select the Building where the job will be offered.  If the building is not listed in this drop-down list, it can be added by clicking on the Configuration tab. 
    Note: Only Web Admins, or users granted specific permission will be able to add or edit buildings.
  5. Type in the Name of the position.
  6. Type in or select the Date that the position should first appear on the job listings page.
  7. Type in or select the date that the position will close and automatically be removed from the job listings page.
  8. Select whether the job is Part Time or Full Time.
  9. Click on the Select New File button to locate the document to upload from the PC that contains the job description for this position. Note that this document is required as it is where the potential applicant will read all the details about the job.
  10. Click Save button.

Important Note: Assuming that a job listing page has been created on the website, newly created job postings are available immediately.  It is not necessary to publish in order for the job posting to become visible to the public website visitor.

Editing Job Postings

  1. Click the Jobs tab and choose List Jobs.
  2. Find the job posting by using the search fields and clicking Search.
  3. Click on the Settings icon next to the title of the job position to Edit it, or click on Delete to remove it.

Important Note: All changes made to the job postings are effective immediately.  It is not required to publish the jobs page for the changes you make to be visible to the public web visitor.
